Qrodo AB is a Swedish Aktiebolag founded in 2008 with a mission to become a major force in live sports on Internet. In 2009 Qrodo AB acquired 68technologies Pte Ltd a Singapore company founded in 2006. 68technologies held important patents in the P2P distributed authorization area and had a strong live streaming product line. The new merged company has business and engineering offices in Europe (Sweden), China (Beijing) and Singapore. The idea behind the company is to provide a global mass-market solutions enabling people and businesses to create live sport happenings on the internet, instantaneously, in real-time or recorded real-time.
The strategy is to do this by utilizing technologies and business models that are new and disruptive to the market. The founders have significant experience as from other start-up companies in the sector, The company constitutes a world class team of different skills added to by resources from europeam research institutes, Currently, approximately 18 persons are working part to fulltime with the company The company has a global strategy expected to launch in the US, Europe and Asia.

We provide software and services by offering a lifecast service that focuses on affordable functionality for the mass-market that leverages connectivity, interaction and fun. As such the lifecast service is used, distributed and shared by a global mass-market, for real-time, online monitoring wherever they are. The service will be accessible from any device, anywhere, through a downloadable, free, plug-and-play software solution using peer-to-peer technology.
Access to and control of any device can be distributed in time or based on events to the social network, for example family, friends, relatives, neighbors and other contacts or communities like the boat club, youth soccer club etc. This means that all places can have a presence on the Internet, where each and everyone will be able to interact live and share experiences with other people, at their control through their social network.
